We created a full-CG title sequence project developed for a federal TV channel, covering three genres: detective, action, and drama.
Each sequence was designed as a distinct visual universe with its own narrative language and emotional tone.
Scale & Team
A complex production delivered by a compact, highly specialized team.
The entire project was completed by 6 artists within 1.5 months which is an unusually lean setup for this level of visual complexity.
Instead of scaling the team, we focused on strong individual expertise and clear responsibility zones.
This approach allowed us to:
- maintain budget efficiency
- accelerate production
- preserve full quality control at every stage
Pipeline
A structured pipeline focused on depth and control.
Production was built around a clear role split:
- Houdini FX artist: particle systems, galaxy, explosions, dynamic interactions
- 3D generalist: scene assembly, lighting, materials, in-shot animation
This setup enabled us to:
- achieve high visual complexity
- keep scenes manageable
- maintain production speed
Every element – from particle behavior to object motion – was manually controlled.
Assets & Realism
80+ objects, fully refined and textured.
While some base geometry came from stock sources, all assets went through full rework:
- retopology
- form refinement
- custom texturing
The goal was not illustrative visuals, but believable objects with history.
Wear, micro-details, and physical accuracy ensured strong close-up performance.
No Generative Tools
Full manual control over generative solutions.
AI was used only at the concept stage and completely excluded from production.
The reason is full control.
In scenes with complex dynamics and multiple objects, we needed precise direction of:
- viewer attention
- motion trajectories
- particle-object interaction
This level of precision requires manual work.
Sound Design
Sound as part of direction, not post-production.
The sound designer was involved from the briefing stage.
Music and rhythm were defined during animatics, allowing:
- tight sync between sound and animation
- cohesive narrative pacing
- unified viewer experience
Visual and audio were built as one system.
Cinematic Approach
3D that doesn’t feel like 3D.
One of the key goals was to eliminate the “digital look.”
This was achieved through:
- lighting
- materials
- color grading
The final image integrates naturally into a cinematic language and works seamlessly in a TV context.
Result
Not just visuals. We’ve created a narrative tool.
These sequences are not decorative assets.
They function as:
- genre-setting devices
- emotional entry points
- extensions of the show’s direction
Each intro prepares the viewer before the story begins and strengthens immersion.
