PAPATON Studio invited me to lead the CGI production for a nationwide campaign of Pyaterochka, one of Russia’s largest supermarket chains.

The video is built around a bold, tongue-in-cheek directorial concept inspired by the retro vibe of 90s American sitcoms — shot entirely on an authentic 1990 Panasonic camera and styled as a deliberately funny nostalgic throwback.

I was in charge of the entire CGI pipeline — from assembling the team to managing timing, budgets, and the final delivery quality.

The project came with a number of unique technical challenges related to the vintage shooting format, but the result was a fearless and visually distinctive pieces that blended retro humor with meticulous digital craft.
